More than 38 million people (83% of the total country population) lack access to a reliable clean & safe water, yet water facilitates general health of the community. Most families walk for over 9 miles to the nearest water source which in most cases is shared with animals. Our obligation as Divine Hearts Foundation is to change this
narrative and extend God’s love to these communities through the drilling of boreholes for the provision of clean and safe water. With a gift of $8124 we can drill and build a borehole which can provide clean and safe water to over 200 families a day. This would also reduce on the risks of water borne illnesses.
